IMANI and the Embassy of Morocco in Ghana have on Tuesday December 16 2014 signed a partnership that comprises the organisation of an international event in Ghana to discuss how Ghana and Morocco can take advantage of the common Geographical location in the Atlantic space to promote trade and business not only among the two countries but also among all countries located in the Atlantic space.

I want to emphasise that this collaboration aims to be a tool to consolidate and strengthen the bilateral relations between Morocco and Ghana. The Embassy believes that IMANI is a figurehead in intellectual activism in the civil society landscape in Ghana. With a very clear mission, steadfast board and committed staff, IMANI is considered as a vibrant voice among Ghanaian think tanks. I stress that this collaboration is a strong signal, which unveils that the power of ideas carried on by the civil society, and should be leveraged for a fruitful cooperation. [/dropshadowbox]
